He has established working studios in northern California and southern France since becoming a professional artist in 1997. Born and raised in Vallejo, California, Vickers was a 1979 business graduate from Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles.His style of painting and sculpture is a fusion of figurative, abstract and realism elements stressing vibrant coloration. He has exhibited extensively at gallery venues throughout the United States and Europe. His work is an important addition to numerous private and public collections internationally.
