Description
The westbrook school           the “westbrook school”, consists of some 23 artists – sheamus devine,         derry corford [and the others have’nt been told yet…]                           notes by the artist on “dealing with screamers” :   this particular piece, “dealing with screamers,” started out as a song. I got the idea when I was 29, watching “captain pugwash”. This was a rollocking, maritime  kids show                   where  2D cartoons behaved like real people. I thought :   “this is bedlam. Pure madness – whoever produced this might as well be     Dealing with screamers on the phone all day, askin’ them why they’re  Using 2D figures instead of lots of real people….   The idea has stuck, because whenever I mention it to myself, I remember the idea.  True to concept, I have called this piece, “dealing with screamers”     About the artist :    Derry corford, 44, joined “the westbrook school” before birth  [according to his astrological life-coach, quiller proust…] Derry wishes to be stuffed and presented by the “westbrooks”,  20 minutes after death.  Wishing only for fame after death, his most ardent desire is  To take the money in his lifetime, instead.  Of his artistic endeavour, he says :   “I don’t work very well, without pay. After payment, I tend to  Excel. I work…indirectly, with my clients. Anonymity is vital  To the creative forthcoming. That’s why only I know I’m really  Famous. I need the space : to create…observe…and spend time   With my bantam budgerigars…”                                  Any contact or further questions,                                              Buy the art first!!!!!
