Tapestry is mounted in a painted wood frame with inner frame of a dark green velvet material. Frame is painted with dark, burnished gold and accented with a thin medium green middle border for accent. Frame is in very good condition, however the beauty of the tapestry would be better served in a more ornately detailed Period frame. Backed with brown paper and has a contemporary sawtooth hanging bracket. Gold foil label of framer, Economy Glass, Scotts Bluff, NEBR, Custom Framing. Frame is circa 1960 - 1970. Tapestry is dated circa 1940-50. Tapestry is in very fine condition and exhibits beautiful color and texture.
