This Warhol Silkscreen Work is in excellent condition, the colors vivid and fresh, the margins full. The Most Wanted Man Screenprint was originally stapled to the Exhibition Catalogue, and includes the remains of two staple holes at the top left which are not intrusive. We are offering the Most Wanted Man Silkscreen along with the original, vintage Dossier 2357, with the original inserts, written in French, including a checklist of the other "Most Wanted Men" Works in this historic Exhibition and the original staple in the top left. The Sonnabend Exhibition Catalogue is in overall excellent condition, aside from minimal creasing evident in the accompanying photographs posted in the Lot. For reference, another impression of the Andy Warhol "Most Wanted" Screenprint sold for 5,400. Pounds Sterling, equating to $9,530. at Sotheby's Olympia, London, on October 25, 2005, Lot 526. The Sotheby's London Lot lacked the accompanying Rare Dossier Booklet, which is included in this Lot.
