A majestic handcarved black forest wood family house altar. Very huge 44" inch tall "tramp art" altar, purchased in bavaria. Since 1910 in family property, no ready for sale. A wonderful unique item carved circa 1900. Excellent detail carving and with the traditional crossroad of jesus. 14 Pictures on the altar represent the ordeal of jesus. For sure a very special eyecatcher and unique in this art ! Some traces from the worldwars, but for the age in good conditions. The Altar is more than 100 years old, and great unique item.
