Signed  in lower right. This is a very beautiful and detailed rose painting in the style he is so famous for. Pink and yellow roses on a brick wall. .  You can see the actual raised areas of paint and brush strokes.  Gouache is a type of heavy water color paint .  This painting has a small chip of paint missing from one rosebud on the left side and some minor water spotting near the same area which may or may not have been made by the artist.  See closeups.. This has been examined by an accredited and reputable art appraiser who has also been a consultant for the PBS television series Antiques Roadshow , and found to be real and authentic . Guaranteed to be an original, signed by the artist.  Not a print of any kind.  This was in a very old frame, it has some penciling on the back, and an old price of 100 dollars in the corner, possibly purchased at an art gallery or maybe even from the artist,  many many years ago .
