Description
"His Master's Voice" in it's origional form completed in 1899, shows the dog "Nipper" listening to a phonograph. Francis Barraud painted some 24 copies of his most famous work. The origional copy hangs in the offices of EMI the successor of the gramophone company. The painting is in its origional frame and the painting itself is 20" x 26" and framed is 28" by 34". This is a valuable piece or artwork. I purchased this painting in an estate sale in 1983 outside of Nashville Tennessee. There are minor cracks throughout the painting. I chose not to have it restored as it would lose its' value. This is a valuable piece of artwork so I will be selective as to the buyer. Again this is a very rare painting. Additional photos available and email contact is available at janbenge@msn.com.
