I don't know of the age but this is a nice Belgian tapestry, largely recognized worldwide for their excellent weavings, artistic flair and craftsmanship.   This is in warm natural tones of reds and browns, and It is stamped on the back Made in Belgium. It measures roughly 48" by 38". There is a 1/4" fringed hem along the sides. The tapestry is ready to hang with a superbly hand carved wood rod on top of the piece and a hidden removeable wooden rod at the bottom (to stretch the piece evenly). Belgian made tapestry is rich in history, and this one is a fine piece of decorative art that may be a valuable piece, I purchased it about 20 years ago (the elderly lady said her family owned it for quite a while).
