Description
The artist "Carolyn" decribes the work in her own words; The original painting was destroyed in a house fire. The technique used in his painting is so unique that it is absolutely impossible to produce another in that high a quality, so, I had a high quality reproduction made, and it is so great that it looks exactly like the original painting. The painting is named “Birds of Paradise”. If you study the background, you will see a lady’s face, a dog, a snake, and whatever else the imagination can envision. This painting was created at 3 A.M. while I was cramming for final exams in 1973, when I was a student at Brown University. It was accepted for a watercolor show at the Providence Art Club that same year. There is no other painting like it n the whole world. The price is high due to its originality and an art collector who added it to his collection would have a unique collection since there is not another in the world. I love this painting so much that I always said that I would not sell it for a million dollars. However, my financial situation has changed dramatically and I need the money. So although it will break my heart to sell it, I will sell it for a million dollars.
