Description
Blaine Fontana "Trees of Unspoken Memories" Original ArtworkAcrylic on Canvas 48" x 36"Stretched Canvas over Wooden FrameHere it is folks. Up for auction is arguably one of the strongest pieces that artist Blaine Fontana has created to date. The name of the work is "Trees of Unspoken Memories". This painting is an epic depiction of Blaines work at his peak period of creation. This will be a huge statement and addition to any collection. The piece is stunning. This is a jaw dropper in terms of Blaine's work. A great amount of detail and emotion is brought out in this organically flowing landmark piece. It was created as part of a story of a great adventure. His subconscious mind reacting to parts of his life as he saw them before his eyes. From the Northwest wilderness to the beach and city of SoCal and Long Beach. It does an amazing job in blending his landscaping, surreal characters, graffiti influence and trademark imagery to tell a story about his well known artistic dream world, that he has been known so well for. It really speaks for itself! This was the centerpiece to a huge sold out solo show called "The Manifest Soup Transcripts of 4 Corners", which was displayed in September of 2006 at Lineage Gallery in Philadelphia. If you are looking at this, you know that this is from Blaine Fontana's strongest era. A tremendous deal of emotion and hard work is at the heart of this creation. Unfortunately, I am in a position in which I need to part with this piece. I can safely say that you will not have too many chances at a work of this quality from Blaine. I regret having to be in this position. It was displayed in a smoke free climate controlled environment since it was procured. The piece is absolutely flawless. It's in the exact condition that it was when it came from the gallery. Please feel free to ask any and all questions prior to bidding. If you would like to see more pictures, please do not hesitate to ask. I will be happy to assist in anyway possible for anyone that has the slightest bit of interest. As far as shipping, it will be professionally packaged and insured. It will be shipped UPS ground. The cost will be around $200 due to its large size and value. I need to find out the exact shipping cost based on where it is being shipped etc. I simply put a shipping estimate for a starting basis. The buyer will be responsible for the total cost of shipping and insurance. International shipping is available, but it is a whole different ballgame because of size and customs. However, I would be willing to work with anyone that it truly interested to get it shipped the safest and most economic way possible. If you have any questions or would like to make any offers, please feel free to contact me. Check out my feedback and bid with confidence. Payement must be made within 48 hours of auction end with Paypal or Cashier's check.
