WALKER ' Description Title: "CALIFORNIA COUNTRY ROAD", 14" x 11", original acrylic painting on canvas.  Gallery price; $440.00!  This painting is near Placerita Canyon State Park,the first place in California where gold was discovered in the 1840's.  It's also where I grew up and rode horses all over these hills!  This road led to my grandfather's 350 acre ranch (now Placerita Canyon State park).  I have fond memories of riding with my brother and my dad in his 1950's pickup on this same road, through about four gates to visit my grandfather.  The rock porch pillars in the background are all that is left of my grandfather, Frank Walker's, first homestead.  This area is near Valencia.  COLLECTED: Nationally and internationally in the United States, Great Britain and Central America.
