It is an oil pastel drawing on paper from his 1980's Urban Political series, CAPTAIN AMERICA. He specialises in American scenes (urban, cultural and landscapes) in a style that has been described as Neo-Expressionist. It is framed under glass and is in very good condition. The image inside the matting measures 9 3/4 inches x 13 inches, the outside frame 16 1/2 inches x 20 inches. A desirable work from the New York circle of artists including Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and others. He attended the University of New York and had his first exhibition in New York in 1978.
