I began selling my art in 1995, but have just really begun to sell it here on EBAY. I am excited to reach a wider audience and to sell pieces continually, not just during shows.    Most of the pieces I create have something to do with Halloween, Carnivals or Vintage 50s imagery in some way. These are my passions and I have found they offer a lot of creative inspiration. Due to my background in Film studies, much of my work has elements of the cinema or "theatrics" to it. All of my painting work is done by hand and I never use stencils or pre-designed patterns at all.  Some of the art that I create is done using found objects that I give a new life to. This use of "found objects" adds an interesting twist to the creative process: starting from something instead of from nothing. I also love to collect art myself! Thank you for your support!                               Folk Art Halloween Dollhouse “CASA LUNA” This is an all wood dollhouse with a Vintage Halloween theme. There are four rooms, all of which contain hand assembled wooden furniture with handpainted designs, as well as objects made specially for the house and a few purchased goodies as well. The décor includes stained wood and painted “tile” flooring with painted walls throughout in various designs & colors. While I am a full time artist who primarily works in “Halloween” and horror inspired themes, this is my first dollhouse! I have secretly always wanted to build one and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do! I have included a pic of the crafted items & one of the purchased items to give you a better look.     Details: 23"tall x 20"wide x 13" deep Exterior: The house is painted gray with black trim and Scandinavian inspired detailing. The windows all have black window boxes filled with creepy moss and flowers.
