It is canvas mounted on board. This will frame to approximately 29x33 inches and look good in a wide profile dark wood, plein air or impressionist style frame.  It has some thick paint and very expressive brush work.  I use no black on my palette and very few tube colors (I'm using more than I used to)...a lot of mixing happens right on the canvas.  You can see some of my technique on the YouTube video links ...and there might be more info. about this painting on the blog link below. This great new original oil painting would sell in a gallery for about $1700framed. Just write for details.     I use archival quality paints and substrates and finish all paintings with a quality varnish for protection and cleanability.  I paint on standard size canvas panels so the frame you need to fit your painting will be easy to find.
