Description
Sir William Hamilton (1730 - 1803) Hamilton's Second Volume of Greek and Etruscan Vases (1764). This is Plate # 94. From an Apulian vase depicting The Three Graces. British Museum accession number 1772.3-20.170 Hand - Colored Mezzotint Engraving after Tischbein on laid paper. Very Fine Condition. Production date is noted on art dealers plate on back as circa 1776. It is guaranteed to be authentic. Sheet size apx. 12" x 17" Frame size (unmatted) 13 1/2" x 18 1/2" The image is much clearer in person, the photography does not do it justice.
