Printed by Jules Cheret's printing house Chaix as collector's examples of original sized poster's in a smaller format. They represent the best of all poster's created in the year before publication.The collection includes poster's by Steinlen,Lautrec,Berthon and others.  This plate was printed in 1896. Poster by well listed French artist Henri Meunier.  This French poster is for  the Western Railroad Company.  Original poster printed 1896 by Chaix, Paris. The plate is in good condition! Colors are clear and bright.  Only a small amount of edge browning  to  report. Also a discoloration lower right margin about 1 1/4 inch by 6 inches, it does cover the blinstamp. Also triangular lack upper left margin that does not approach the image. Small lack upper left corner. These small faults are entirely confined to the margins and do not affect the image in the least. All will be covered when framed and matted..
