In addition to comics, Dave has worked extensively as a designer, producer, and creator in the field of animation." THis is a terrific example of Dave Coper's signature painting style. I purchased this piece from The JONATHAN LEVINE GALLERY in NYC in November of 2005. It was part of his solo exhibit entitled"New Paintings and Drawings by Dave Cooper: Pictorial Ruminations on the Volume and Density of Mostly Pillowy Girls" (Sorry; I no longer have the original sales receipt) The piece is Oil on Canvas, approx. 31.5" x 30". It is signed by the artist both on the front of the canvas and on the back. It is unframed; that is how it was shown at the gallery originally, and that is how it was purchased.
