My Grandmother purchased the paintings around 1932-1933 in the city of Detroit while Rivera was working on the murals at the Detroit Institute of Arts.  They have been in my family ever since.  The painting is 11 ½” X 8 ½” and is attached to a larger piece of paper ( glued in tiny spots I do not know if there is any writing on the back of the painting) . The watercolor is on rice paper. The paintings is signed in the lower right corner RIVERA and underlined with the words Taxco GRO. Diego Rivera spent time in Taxco before he arrived in Detroit Place a Bid!
