He studied in Bezalel, Jerusalem and in 1911-14 in Munich. His prizes include - 1926 Prize for stage set for “The Fisherman’s Tent”, Paris; 1953, 1959 Dizengoff Prize. He took part in “Tower of David Exhibition”. In 1958-60 he lived in Paris. Participated in Venice and Sao Paulo Biennales.
