This piece has not been duplicated so its value will continue to improve.   Have recent $150,000 appraisal by Kinkade National Archive in Monterey California. This is an original oil on canvas painted by Thomas Kinkade in 1988.  The painting is 24 inches by 36 inches. The frame is included (frame size is 37 by 49). This painting has been kept out of direct sunlight since purchase on 6/17/1996. The Kinkade gallery catalog number is 0474.88.1206. Have original purchase receipt from Thomas Kinkade Galleries. History: This is an early work of Thomas Kinkade (1988), "The painter of light".  The darker foreground trees contrast nicely with the morning sun shining on the mountain side.  The painting has different "moods" depending on how the light hits it.  I've tried to capture some of this with my digital camera, but I must admit I'm not a photographer.  These are daylight shots.  In the evening with overhead incandescent lighting, the mountain has a warm glow. There is a "sister" painting entitled "Passing Storm, Northern Rockies" that can be seen on the Kinkade National Archive web site in the originals section.  I would imagine both were painted on the same trip in the mountains.   Shipping Policy Feedback Item will be shipped within 3-5 business days of receipt of payment. Our son is in college, so now is the time to sell this investment.  I'm new to eBay so feel free to send an email with any questions. Happy Bidding!!
