The frame is included (frame size is 18.5 by 16.5). This painting has been kept out of direct sunlight since purchase in 1996-1997. The Kinkade gallery catalog number is 0387.961102.  History: Thomas Kinkade painted this piece on a trip with his family.  You can see them playing in the river in the foreground at Big Sur, California.  We were told by the Gallery in Monterey (where the item was purchased) that one of his children accidentally knocked the easel down and the work in progress momentarily fell into the water.  There is no evidence of water damage, but it was an interesting bit of trivia about the piece.   Shipping Policy Feedback Item will be shipped within 3-5 business days of receipt of payment.
