This is a one of a kind drawing and original poem written below the portrait.   Red Skelton was known for drawing on the white linen table cloths that were used in First Class on American Airlines.  On this particular flight from Dallas to Orange County, he asked to borrow the Captain's hat to use as his model for this picture.  The Captain was happy to oblige, and the hat that sits on the clown's head is an exact replica!!!  Big Red, as he liked to be called, looked out the window and composed this poem in flight.   FLYING HIGH UP IN THE SKY ABOVE PATCH QUILTED LAND,  A BEAUTIFUL GIFT FROM GOD MADE UGLY BY THE GREED OF MAN.  signed R.S. 1937.
