PAYMENT SHIPPING RETURNS ABOUT US LEGAL Robert Swain Original 3 Untitled Colored Boxes 36"x36" DESCRIPTION Up for auction is a set of three untitled colored boxes by Robert Swain. The three square paintings depict Swain's trademark manner of depicting colors in smaller color squares. The three art pieces are being sold as a set, each original acrylics on canvas. Swain's color genius is clearly demonstrated through these three works of art because the mini color squares are painted flat, but appear cupped or pleated. They were purchased from a New York gallery during a Swain showing in November 1982. The set is being sold on behalf of the original owner, and the three pieces are in excellent condition. Each has been wall mounted and kept from direct sunlight in a smoke-free environment. One painting has some minor scuffing on the bottom (see photo), but could easily be restored to perfect condition. Measures 36" by 36" each Robert Swain was born in 1940 in Texas. He has resided most his life in New York. He has conducted several one-man exhibits, and hundreds of his works of art have been commissioned are a on display throughout the world. It is very rare that a Robert Swain painting becomes available, let alone three matching pieces. This set would make an excellent addition to any fine art collection. The auction is being offered with no reserve and a very reasonable starting price. PAYMENT Pay with your credit card through PayPal. All in state residents within our state will be charged state and/or local sales tax at the time of checkout. We also accept money orders or cashiers checks to the address in the shipping details. If you pay with either of these, your item will not be shipped until bank approval of the check or order. Payment must be received within 7 days of the close of auction.
