What makes this a true collectible is the fact that one of the illustrations for this book was NOT included/printed inside the review printer proof copy. The missing illustration was titled "Village Slums". Wood caught this error AFTER he had approved the proofs that were mailed to his Iowa City address and as a result the omitted illustration was included in the original first printing and its titled added to the page listing these illustrations, etc. From the collection of Nan Wood Graham, sister of the artist. The contents of this collection are in near "mint" original condition considering that this was printed in 1937 some 71 years years ago. The original Title page showing the (8) eight illustrations will be sold with the Main Street print only. The title page has the address label of Nan Wood Graham's Riverside, Cal. residence.
