This historic water color was the first painting Scott ever sold, probably around 1976 or so. It's a beautiful, full sheet (30"x22 1/2") architecture/landscape painting of an historic house and grounds, in Tustin,CA. It's framed behind glass, with a wide linen mat and a grey wood frame. There are a few scuffs on the frame, but this is the original frame afterall. If I had to guess (without it in front of me) I would say that the outside dimensions of the whole frame would be about 42"x34". If you own one of Scott's more current wordplay/off scale paintings, then this would be a great campanion piece to show a historical perspective in your collection. Scott's two most recent paintings (oils) at The Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach, sold for $25,000 and $30,000. His watercolors usually sell for $10,000 to $25,000.
