Depicts Professor Longhair at the piano. Henry 'Fess' Byrd at the piano - better known as Professor Longhair. 30th Year Anniversary of the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Artwork by George Dureau and signed as part of the poster and then again on the lower right after the poster's creation. Printed on heavy archival vellum paper. Framed it is 42" by 27".  This one is numbered 1059/3000.  With an oval stamped seal - raised three dimensional - stamped into the poster just to the left and below the numbering. Under that is the second artist's signature - the one on the poster, not in the poster. The printed poster signature is the one on the left below the piano keys. The one for sale is exactly like this one with some variation in the second signature - and the individual number will be different.  Limited edition out of print poster. These posters are hard to find - RARE. Framed with acid free materials.  No damage of any kind to the poster or the frame, including the glass and backing paper. I took all these photos indoors with flash which will give you an idea of the quality of the framing and the glass - all is in perfect condition!! Bottom line price.  I will contiue to relist on occassion, but not for less.  This is what I paid for the item between poster and frame. My daughter and I both purchased the numbered, doubled signed, large New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival limited edition poster while attending the Festival in 1999. We returned home and I framed mine - she loved it so much she took hers in to the same framer and had it done exactly like mine! So now we have the one in the photos, my daughters, and another one bubbled, boxed, and stored - that is the one I am selling. Because of the size and nature of the item it will be bubbled and boxed very carefully and shipped by UPS or another freight carrier.  Insured. I believe the cost of shipping internationally to be prohibitive and I therefore have not included shipping quotes for international buyers.  Shipping cost is based on actual packaged weight.  Item is already heavily bubble wrapped with cardboard reinforcements - it made it from OR to MA just fine in the moving van.  Package will be reinforced and packaged again for UPS shipping.  Insurance is included in shipping quote.
