The chairs are made from tineo (Indian apple tree) with splats also made from amber. Set: 1 amber table: H=750mm, W=700, weight 25 Kg.          2 chairs: H=1060mm, Seat=600mm x 580mm, weight=14 Kg. Some 40 million years ago, there was a significant warming and humidifying of climate. It promoted a spreading of tropical and subtropical vegetation to the north. Coniferous trees were compelled to adapt to conditions which were new to them. They reacted to the climate change with rich resinosis. Hurricanes, fires in forests, as well as insects and animals damaged trees, causing even greater outflow of sap. It trickled down the trunks of trees, dripped down the branches. In soil of the forest the sap oxidized and was collected for the period of millions of years, gaining hardness, gradually turned into one of the world's miracles - amber.
