Description
THE MAN WHO PAINTS DRAGONSBY JORDAN BLACKMONI am a proud Southerner, having been born in the Beautiful State of South Carolina. I want to tell you about my favorite great uncle, Michael Rivers Watkins. Eccentric uncles, especially those who inhabit the deep Southern States, have always been with us. My uncle is no exception, being a stellar member of this fraternity. What sets him apart from this Faulknerian world is his paintings. Having long ago mastered his own eccentricity, he is now painting these strange and wonderful creatures he resists calling dragons. He feels labeling them dragons pigeon-holes them, putting a sticker on them that will adhere forever. I agree with him on that. However, there is no doubt that in our own wider family he will always be know as the man that paints Dragons. Case closed. To be continued.Hand signed and numbered by the artist.Presenting a limited edition (100) print of an original artwork created by South Carolina artist Michael Rivers Watkins entitled "The L.C.
