Description
Aloha, Up for auction out of a recent estate in Honolulu this large Toshiko Takaezu stone ware plate or tile. I showed this piece to my appraiser and he confirmed its authenticity and asked me to point out – 1st that the tile has a tiny kiln flaw in the left hand top corner about 2 inches to the right a ¼ inch white spot and 2nd the plate or tile is warped (I attached a photo) on a straight surface the middle part of the tile is warped upwards about ¼ inch.
