Out of the three versions for the "monogramouflage" pattern this work is the most striking, and sold out first on opening day of the exhibition. For the MOCA show Murakami designed five distinct canvases each in 100 print editions. The MOCA color canvases have been selling at auction recently for over $22,050 (including buyers premium). The Monogamouflauge series for the Brooklyn Museum has three distinct canvas, of which only one edition is comprised of the traditional leather-smooth surface that the Murakami/ Louis Vuitton compilation is known for. The other two canvas designs are on a raw cotton and have a matte finish. Compared to the MOCA canvas this edition of the Monogramouflage canvases is extremely rare and set to sky-rocket in price. The canvas will be shipped in it's original Louis Vuitton box, complete with certificate of authenticity, which also comes in a smaller Louis Vuitton box.  It will be placed in a larger box and surrounded with bubble wrap and will be completely insured.
