It is made out of spectacular white marble.   Highlights that I would like to point out concerning this exquisite piece are first and foremost - the subject. Two Bears hugging each other is something I am certain you have never seen before. This is a completely original piece with a harmonized feel to it. It is peacefull and not aggresive. This most reflects the spirit of how the Inuits live their lives. They are a very peaceful and humble people. These Bears are happy together.    This carving is incredibly smooth with perfect contours and curves throughout. A double carving (like this one, with two animals in one piece) is much harder to make than single portrait carvings. Furthermore, like any artist, I believe Juda is deseas, has dramaticly increased the value of his carvings.   The feature that stands out the most with this piece is her color.
