Welcome to Paisley Rose!  This auction is for a truly exquisite piece of Japanese art!  It is a 3 dimensional embroidered picture on cream velvet.  It depicts a lady in a kimono and parasol, next to a fence, a pagoda in the background.  A Japanese Cherry tree, bridge, and snow-capped mountains are also part of the scene.  The picture is double framed in a gold painted bamboo with red fabric mat.  The stitchery is so intricate, and truly 3 dimensional....the pictures really don't do it justice.  The over-all size is about 18 inches square with the picture itself about 12 inches square.  The only flaw that I detected was a minor amount of age discoloration on the velvet background.  I didn't think it was at all distracting from the beauty of this unique piece of textile art.If any of your questions about this item are unanswered or concerns unaddressed, please email me prior to bidding as this is considered a final sale.  We at Paisley Rose love to save you money by combining shipping, so why not take a few moments to browse our other listings.  You just might find something you love.  If you like what you see, please add us to your favorite sellers.  Thank you for stopping by!
