This is from an estate full of fine Asian art. It has never been worn and was found packed carefully away in a box. It is in perfect vintage condition, with no, rips, tears, fraying, spots or discoloration. The silk is very fine and is an ivory color. The painting is on both the front and back. The theme is Bamboo and its leaves. The bamboo stocks are painted in different shades of black, gray, turquoise and gold, with leaves being of different shades of black, gray, turquoise, and gold also. This is a Fabulous find!!!!  I would say this would fit most sizes, from a small to an extra large. It is open in the front with a smaller design and on the back is the same theme with a larger design. This haori has a very small paper tag inside of it, it says Hayashi Kimono.  I think this would be a most interesting and beautiful wall hanging. This Haori is true work of art.
