I'm pretty sure it is vintage. I do not know if this is fact but it was told to me that it came from the Moulan Rouge Casino here in Las Vegas but again I don't know. I wish I did as it would make this an extremely collectible painting since the Moulan Rouge has been closed for years but is well known as being the first and only all black casino where many of the great black entertainers starred. It is now finally in the process of being restored. Unfortunately it caught on fire a couple of years ago and the only thing salvaged was the front of the structure with the original wonderful old neon sign. I am going to try and research to see if there is any documentation as to any of these possibilities...however you are buying it as just a wonderful very large almost caricature oil on canvas circus painting. So whimsical and over the top! If you are into carousels or circus or any funfilled items such as that..this is a must have! It's in wonderful condition and nicely framed. If this is truly from the Moulan Rouge Casino it will date to the 50's or 60's unless it was added later. To me it looks like the 60's. Measures 72" wide x 45" tall.
