Like each of our creations, Lumina and her Crow are entirely hand painted.This frolicking pair are made from muslin that has been painted and sanded andpainted and sanded again. This gives the fabric a wonderfullyrich patina that feels kinda like old leather. Lumina's arms and legs are button jointed, allowing her to be posed. It looks like the pumpkin is balanced in place, but she is safely attached in her seat on the crow, so there is no danger of her falling off. The pumpkin’s head is hand sculpted out of paper clay without the use of any molds. The crow’s legs and feet are made of bent forks, making this a free standing piece.
