Description You are viewing one of my original textile art/ wood carvings with some embroidery work. I have done some embroidery work on fabric and there is fabric sewn on fabric to help bring out the scene of the background. The ducks are carved out of cypress wood and the feathers were woodburned in. The ducks were touched up with acrylic paint to give them a little color. Inlayed in each of the ducks is a tiger eye semi-precious oval gem stone. All enclosed within a painted wood frame and a glass covering to protect the art work.
